Year in Review
Yes, we realize the year is not quite yet over, but if you're a member we thought you'd like to know where your money went this year. If you're not a member we want you to know that if we can get your support we can do a even more for this community.

In February Aquatic Systems came to our board meeting to address waterway treatment concerns.

Paid for 3 dead trees (2 at boat ramp / 1 at beach park) to be removed.

Keys made (and many recycled) for gates at boat ramp and beach park.

Announced and participated in the Lake Brantley Restoration Event

Paid association membership dues to LBLMA (Lake Brantley Lake Management Association)

Held Annual Picnic at the Beach Park FREE for all neighbors! Provided hot dogs, sodas, bounce house... etc.

Held Annual Luau at the Beach Park FREE for all members (& encouraged non-members to participate at only $20 per family)! Provided hot dogs, bounce house, steel drum band, sodas... etc.

Secured a small sponsorship from "The Olde Cup & Saucer" that appeared in e-Newsletter.

Sent alligator warnings and worked with neighbors and wildlife officials regarding two gators; which were trapped and removed.

Treatment of main canal to curb buildup of hydrilla (foreign weed from asia) has changed to every other month to save money.

Regular maintenance (mow, repair, utilities.. etc) at beach park and boat ramp. *The CAWLB was formed to keep up these community properties which were so kindly donated to the neighborhood by our original settlers*

Saving for our "Future Project Fund" which will most likely be a floating dock surrounding & protecting the beach park's swim area.

Maintain www.CAWLB.org website & send e-Newsletters monthly and as needed to ALL neighbors (some of these items are kindly donated by paying members).

Printing of invoices and annual newsletter (donation by paying member).
